Missing Teeth? Worried About Uncomfortable Dentures?

Dental Implants Are Secure and Comfortable for a Smile Our
Newton Patients Can Feel Proud Of!

You’re missing a lot of teeth. You never feel like smiling. Eating is a chore and all your favorite foods seem out of reach. Fresh corn-on-the-cob, a nice juicy steak, a crunchy red apple – you feel as if you may never enjoy them again. Speaking is even difficult and embarrassing. The fun has just faded from life and you just wish you could hide.

The implant specialists at Newton’s Station Dental understand and are here to help. We know how hard it is to deal with tooth loss and have made it our mission to bring smiles back to our Boston neighbors.

The Benefits of Dental Implants

No one likes the way dentures and partials can slip, pinch, and come lose. Dental implants never do that. In fact, because implants are based on titanium posts securely placed and integrated into your jaw bone, they stop bone loss and stay stable and secure in your smile all day and all night. No need for soaking, sticky adhesives, or constant adjustments and refittings.

Instead, you will have a beautiful, natural-looking smile full of teeth that let you eat, laugh, and love to the fullest.

We offer a variety of implant options to suit your personal needs including single and multiple tooth implants. We even offer a One-Day Smile option so you never have to face life without teeth.

Implants make smiling feel like it should!

Multiple-Tooth Implants

If you are missing more than just a few teeth and though a bridge or partial was your only option, think again. Our multiple-tooth implants can replace several teeth a time.

You see, just like a conventional bridge or partial, our multiple-tooth implants fill gaps where teeth have been lost so your smile looks great. The big difference is that, unlike these removable prosthetics, our multiple-tooth implants are held in place by implant posts that stimulate your jawbone and stay in place allowing you to experience unprecedented comfort and confidence.

You will be amazed at the freedom this implant option offers:

  • No need for a removable prosthetic
  • No nighttime soaking
  • No need for denture adhesives
  • No painful rubbing or slipping
  • No food limitations
  • No hassle

Just beautiful, secure teeth so you can get back to living again!

Look younger, feel more confident, and smile like you never, ever lost a single tooth with multiple tooth implants from the knowledgeable, caring team at Station Dental Implants & Periodontics.

Single-Tooth Implants

Are you missing just one or two teeth? Are you worried about how a partial will blend in your smile? Don’t worry! You don’t have to deal with the inconvenience and potential discomfort of a removable prosthetic – not when single-tooth implants make life so much easier and your smile so attractive! Dr. Strauss has placed hundreds of single-tooth implants for the kind of form and function nature intended.

The wonderful thing about a single-tooth implant is that, just like your natural tooth it is replacing, it stays firmly in place day and night as you eat, speak, smile, and sleep.

Even better, there is no need to disturb the enamel of your natural teeth to hold a bridge. How does that work? Just like your natural tooth roots, the titanium post of dental implants is securely anchored into your jawbone to hold your beautiful new tooth in place—no anchoring on surrounding teeth needed. That allows you to brush and floss the way you always have, and keep your jawbone stimulated and vital. No bone loss and no aged look that can happen when a tooth is lost! Just a beautiful smile you can feel proud of.

FAQ

We think you deserve to know everything there is about your care. That’s why we always take the time to listen carefully to your concerns and answer all of your questions. Here are a few of the most commonly asked questions to get you started. Still want to know more? Don’t hesitate to call!

We are always here to help. Take a look at our suggestions for affording your care, and if you still have questions, feel free to give us a call!

The traditional approach of replacing each individual tooth with a dental implant and crown is not only very costly but takes over 18 months to complete and multiple visits. The process usually consists of removing teeth, placing bone grafts, performing sinus elevations, and then placing a removable denture while the implants heal into place.

All-on-4® implants offer the newest, most cost effective way to replace a full arch – and they can be completed in one visit. All-on-4® implants can be placed at an angle, allowing us to place posts even where bone has been lost. It will take some time for your implants to fully heal in place to hold your new, permanent teeth, but you will leave our office on the day of your procedure with a gorgeous smile and non-removable prosthesis. When you choose All-on-4®, you will never be without teeth. You just go to sleep and wake up with a look you’ll love.

Even if you’ve been told you can’t have implants because of bone loss, we can help. Dr. Strauss’ advanced bone grafting techniques can improve bone density, support your bone after extraction, and even allow you to receive a dental implant when you thought you couldn’t. Bone grafts are most commonly needed before major implant dentistry, but if bone has been lost due to gum disease or other oral health problems Dr. Strauss can help with that too. And more good news: With our advanced All-on-4® implants, Dr. Strauss can actually utilize the remaining bone without the need for any grafting. Contact Station Dental Implants & Periodontics to learn how our bone grafting techniques truly make a difference. We’ll walk you through, step by step, for personalized treatment options and care you can trust.
We take pride in how comfortable people find our treatments – it is one of the ways we distinguish ourselves. We take your wellbeing very seriously and do all we can to keep you comfortable and completely relaxed. And while most people find that the amount of discomfort they experience during and after getting an implant Is minimal, we understand that some patients need a little more support than just local anesthesia. We offer a variety of anesthesia options, including general anesthesia, to help you relax and to keep you comfortable through any procedure. Most patients report they experienced less discomfort than anticipated! Once the implants have healed you won’t even know they are there. We also offer blankets and neck pillows to keep you cozy.
We will of course give you detailed pre-op instructions, but it is a good idea to ask any questions or voice any concerns you have before the day of your operation. If you are planning to have sedation dentistry, we’d like to be sure there is someone available – a friend or family member – who can be with you while you recover. We can also send a Town Car to pick you up, but your support person will need to drive you home.
Whether you need dental implants or a bone grafting procedure… or both, you can be sure that we will talk to you, comfort you, and stay with you through every step. If you are having sedation, our anesthesiologist will carefully monitor your vitals. Most procedures do require an incision and sutures, but Dr. Strauss has years of experience and outstanding training so you can be sure that it is all carefully completed. Dr. Strauss is, in fact, an admitted perfectionist and he never starts a procedure he isn’t sure he can complete to his exacting standards.
After your procedure, we will send you home with carefully-explained post-operative instructions. If your procedure requires sedation, you’ll need to have someone accompany you home to continue monitoring your progress for a few hours after surgery. And don’t worry! Neither you, nor your friend, will have to drive you to our office. For our All-on-4® procedures, we have a Town Car service to transport you in complete luxury. Dr. Strauss will ensure pain management options are in place to keep you comfortable. A one-week follow up will be scheduled after your procedure, but if you have any questions, please feel free to call us. We recommend that you refrain from chewing anything hard for the first six weeks to allow proper healing.
Most people are surprised by how incredibly natural their dental implants look. Every replacement option, from single-tooth implants to All-on-4® implants are custom designed to suit you. We use only the finest labs and the best materials, leaving you with a smile no one will know is not your own.
